Do you have a different method of drinking beer underwater ?
Hi folks,
I get to go scuba diving offf the wonderful coasts of Oman & Dubai with BSAC and PADI mates.
Thing is, they can be a bit daft.
You are about 60ft down, and tins of beer start arriving from the top-cover boat.
Fine. We turn upside down, remove the mouthpiece, crack the tin, and slurp away.
Suprisingly almost no sea water gets involved in the process.
You then fill the tin with air, so it pops back up to the boat.
Mind the joker once sent down packaged sandwiches on a diving weight.
This was a bit much, watching folks trying to eat a soggy sandwich under water. It doesn't really work very well.
Perhaps a beer-filled hosepipe with a bung on the lower end might work ?
