Does anybody know of anyplaces to go scuba diving in an aquarium in Las Vegas, Nevada?

So, me and my friend want to go scuba diving in an aquarium thing (With fishes and stuff) for my birthday. But, we don't know where they would let us.. HELP?!

Shark Reef at Mandalay Bay does have a Dive with the Sharks program. The price is a whopping $650 for one or $1000 for two. Unless you are wealthy I would go to Florida to do this. Better yet, fly to the Bahamas and swim with the sharks in the ocean.

You CAN NOT bring your own equipment. No personal cameras are permitted. It is a 45 minute dive. The water is warm 74 degrees and visibility is 200 feet.

They have the following species
Sandtiger Sharks (~7 - 9 feet),
Sandbar Sharks (~6 - 8 feet),
Gray Reef Sharks (~ 4 - 5 feet),
Galapagos Shark (~ 5 - 6 feet),
Nurse Sharks (~7 - 9 feet),
White Tip Reef Sharks (~4 - 5 feet),
Zebra Sharks (~ 5 - 6 feet).
There are also two species of rays: Southern Stingrays, Green Sawfish and various species of bony fish.

You can't try and touch the animals or they will remove you.

I do know a little about sharks and these species are not dangerous. They do make you wear chain mail but that's probably more lawyers than trainers. You do have to be careful of that one customer out of a thousand that behaves like an idiot, and you can't get him out of the tank. Sand Shark bites are the ones most commonly reported in the wild, because people grab their tails because they think that they are "safe" sharks.

However, the "sand tiger shark" can be quite large and should provide you with a thrill.

The "sand tiger shark" is not to be confused with the "tiger shark" or Galeocerdo cuvier which grows to 850-1400 lbs and can be very dangerous.

Encounters with divers have shown that, despite their size, "smalltooth sand tigers" are docile and do not react aggressively even when closely approached.

More than likely you will do the entire dive without any physical contact. It would be extremely unlikely that one will chew on your chain mail.
