Did You Enjoy Your Sailing Holidays?
My sweetheart suggested that we take a vacation by sailing but I did not like the idea. We are always having different opinions about so many aspects of life. She is crazy about nature. However, my idea of a romantic vacation is Manhattan. I was not going to agree to her sailing holiday because I was frightened. How was I going to enjoy sailing holidays when I was already scared of the thought of going on this particular vacation?
I am naturally frightened of traveling on water especially Scuba diving. I have never traveled on a boat or even go for Fishing trips not to talk of having a Sailing holiday. Also, I have heard of people throwing up on a ship during their sailing holidays because they feel sick. My sweetheart was determined to sail with me on this particular vacation.
I had no choice but to give in. This was because I realized that if I disagree to go on this particular sailing holidays with her then she would refuse to my suggestion of the next vacation. Scratch my back and I will scratch yours. In most relationships, there has to be understanding coming from both sides. It is easy for a man or a woman to say the phrase “I love you” but there will be difficult times when they may not want to understand. They will fail to understand that at different occasions they have told you that they love you.
I cannot overemphasize the advantages of socializing. Socializing with people may get you the girlfriend, spouse, lover or wife that you have been looking for. Socializing may also get you that very important job or contract that you have been praying to God for. This happens especially if you meet an influential and very important person who can pull some strings for you.
Upon boarding the boat, I was so nervous that I was shaking. Fortunately, my nervousness reduced greatly and I felt more relaxed. The to and fro effect of the waves on the boat had a calming effect on me. The weather was very bright and we had so much fun. We met and discussed with so many interesting personalities.
We thus had a very wonderful vacation on the boat and I am very sure that we are going to plan for another boat vacation. Not only that, I was very certain that our next vacation to Manhattan would be marvelous.
