People go on holiday to get away from their 9 to 5 and explore somewhere completely different. Latin America has some of the most beautiful beaches you will ever see and this is why many people travel there on holiday every year. Brazil and the Spanish speaking countries within the American continent make up Latin America.

There are lots activities you can do while on holiday in these very popular beach destinations apart from relaxing and sun bathing, as good as that may sound. The activities involve sports like surfing and other fun things such as kayaking, scuba diving and many other fun activities.

Playa Tamarindo is definitely the best beach in Costa Rica and possibly the whole of Central America. The waves can reach 12 feet tall as you get closer to the winter months and there are also many tours to keep you occupied.

For the animal lovers out there aGalapagos holiday is the place for you. You will find animals on the Galapagos Islands that can be found nowhere else on earth.

If beaches are your focus though then you can't go wrong with the Placencia in Belize which is an amazing 15 miles long. You will also find that there is a lot of wildlife in the area as well.

Whilst most of Latin America is safe to travel in you should be slightly more cautious than you would be in your home country. People may like to go overseas home insurancehowever this is a decision you must make on your own.
