The Sea Turtles On Tulum's Turtle Beach

Summer time is a really beautiful time of the year. I was lucky enough to vacation a few months in the Yucatan area this summer season. It was really awe inspiring to be there. I lived the vast majority of my visit in a small beach/jungle township known as Tulum. Tulum is located in the Riviera Maya approximately ninety miles south of Cancun and roughly 40 miles from Playa Del Carmen. That is a fairly simple drive if you rent a car or van and take freeway 307 all of the way. It's also possible to get on a bus for only a very affordable charge. A taxi ride wouldn't even be overly outrageous either, but as a result of riding the bus or renting a van or car you'll certainly be saving cash. Without doubt, my preferred thing about Tulum relates to the nation. There are countless genuine people in Tulum, in particular the area's Mayans and Mexicans who live there. Another impressive trait is the beaches. Tulum has among the most breathtaking beaches in the earth. You probably didn't know that at least one of the Corona commercials with the couple on the chairs on the beach was filmed here. Yes, it is as attractive as it looks on Television and yes, you ought to come down for a stay!

The best beach I went to instantly moved towards the summit of my most excellent beach experiences list. I had by no means experienced anything like it, it was so perfect and heavenly . My acquaintances who are actually residents down here label it Turtle beach, however the given name is Xcacel (esh-ca-sell). This is merely a ten minute ride north of Tulum on highway three hundred and seven. Not surprisingly they labeled it turtle beach because should you set out at night in the early to mid summertime you will really have the chance to observe actual live sea turtles lay their eggs in the sand. Make sure to stay a healthy distance away from the turtle during this process because you may scare the turtle if you get too close. Also, this only happens at night and flashlights will scare the turtle so you have to hope for clear skies and a bright moon.

If all your lucky stars align, you may be in for an experience unlike any you'll ever witness in nature. My lucky stars aligned on one of my last evenings here and I was able to witness a sea turtle laying eggs. It truly was a magical moment that all nature lovers should experience at least once.

If you go to Turtle Beach in the daytime, the first thing you'll notice is there are very few people at this beach. Rarely, if ever, do they have more than 50-100 people in a 3/4 mile stretch of beach. The small number of people makes this almost like your own slice of paradise. The turquoise blue water will literally blow your mind. Not only is it 75-80 degrees, the waves themselves are also tiny and won't smack you or your kids around like other beaches. All the large waves are broken up miles from shore because of the Coral Reef which dominates the coastline. If you're a fan of scuba or snorkeling you'll love the Coral Reef because of the amazing sea life you can observe relatively close to shore. There are many professional diving tours at affordable rates offered in Tulum. I'm definitely planning on doing some scuba diving when I come back.

I certainly hope that time flies between then and now. If you can't make it down to Tulum, Playa del Carmen or Cancun will also give you many options for great times. Hotels in the Yucatan, including Playa del Carmen hotels and resorts can be a great option for anyone looking to be around the big party crowds. Tulum Mexico hotels will also give you luxury but the prices are usually more affordable and the service more personable. I have really fallen in love with Tulum and I will always recommend it to anyone looking for a unique and relaxing vacation. With all the amazing things like beaches, great food, resorts, hotels, and even Mayan ruins, you may find out Tulum is exactly the get-away you're looking for.
