Yes, Cayman is nice, but it's nearly impossible for an American to work there [unless you are a physician or a banker!]. All the islands have laws regarding work permits and they are difficult for immigrants to get unless they have a special skill that is in demand on the island.

Cost of living on most of the islands will be high, especially compared to income levels.
