Best Scuba Diving In Hawaii

best scuba diving in hawaii
What to do in Honolulu? What are the best things to do there?

So I'm going on Spring Break to Hawaii with a couple friends and I was hoping some people who have been could give me some fun things to do while there. We are college students so we are looking for fun activities like surfing, hiking, scuba diving, etc but we are looking for the cheapest ways possible.

Going on Spring Break there and not really into the bar scene but are looking for the best things to do so any advice would be great.

Cheers.

Best part of all of these activities, they are all free with the exception of kayak and surf board rentals

For Hiking....
Nuuanu Pali Lookout - The Pali Lookout (also called the Nuuanu Pali) is probably the most spectacular panorama in the Pacific – certainly on Oahu. Residents and experienced visitors alike rate the lookout high on their list of the most awesome sights in the Islands. The Pali Lookout takes in a breathtaking sweep of landscapes seemingly stretching all the way up the Windward Coast of the island. In particular, the cool uplands host the lush tropical rainforests of Windward Oahu – a real surprise for visitors expecting beaches, but not much more. All the colors of the rainbow play against lush vegetation on sheer cliffs dropping to the sea below.

Manoa Falls - Manoa Falls Trail has easy access with a host of natural attractions, Manoa Falls is Oahu’s most popular public trail. the roaring 150-foot waterfall is a must-have for many Oahu visitors. The trail head is located near the old Paradise Park in Manoa Valley, a quick 10-minute drive from downtown Honolulu. The area is known for its frequent rainfall, so bring rain gear or at least a change of clothes. Mosquito repellent is also highly recommended.

For Kayaking (MUST DO!!!)...
Lanikai - The picturesque Lanikai Beach is ideal for practically every beach-type of activity there is. From snorkeling to windsurfing, from picnicking to kayaking, Lanikai Beach presents many opportunities to enjoy one of Oahu’s best beaches. Kayak from Lanikai Beach out to the twin Mokulua Islands. Once on the island, people usually go exploring or share a lunch together before paddling back.

For Surfing....
Sunset Beach - Sunset Beach on Oahu’s North Shore is famous for its annual winter waves that pound the area. Unlike the Banzai Pipeline, the surf break down the road, the wave at Sunset has more of a shoulder to carve, rather than the fast, hollow tube at Pipeline. However, the wave size can greatly increase at Sunset, with wave heights reaching 20-plus feet on some days. If you can handle the huge waves at Sunset, you will be rewarded with some of the best rides in the world.

Have fun!
