Key Largo, FL- Best SCUBA diving?

I am going to go down to the Florida keys, and I only have a day. What is the best place to go diving, and the best charter/company to go with? Anyone had good experiences?

Hi - Probably the best place dive is in Pennenkamp State Park - It is a marine park and they have a dive operator (Reef Adventures) there that you can go out with. One of the most famous sites is Christ of the Deep - a submerged statue of Jesus. It's not very deep and you can also snorkel there. There are also some wreck and reef dives.

Another place that is popular for diving in the keys is Looe Key. It's further south than Key Largo and isn't a marine park - I think Pennenkamp is better.
